danny-moraff-150x150 Danny Moraff Should Inspire Us To Adopt Cleaner TransportationA Boston Globe article highlights the work of 17-year-old Danny Moraff, a high school junior, who is aiming to single-handedly integrate his town’s transit routes and schedules into Google Transit.  The Lexington, Massachusetts teen is up against a fairly formidable challenge.  He is the only one who seems to care in his area.  Well, maybe not care, but he is the only one who seems willing to go outside his realm of responsibility.  Outside of his regular studies and responsibilities, Moraff rides all six of his town’s transit lines to acquire location and stop time information.  All by himself.  While he admits that Lexington isn’t built for public transportation reliance, he hopes his actions will inspire others to rely on cleaner transportation.  I find him pretty inspiring.  Do you?
